Every manuscript passes through an editorial screening and review process before a final publication decision is made.
All submitted manuscripts are initially read by the Editor for appropriateness. Papers considered outside the journal's scope, of insufficient interest, or otherwise inappropriate are rejected without external review.
Manuscripts that pass the initial screening are sent for blind peer review by two reviewers. The reviewers assess the scholarly quality and suitability of the submitted work.
Following review, a manuscript may be rejected. Alternatively, authors may be invited to revise their work and address the questions and concerns raised by the reviewers and editors.
Authors invited to revise their manuscripts should address the reviewers' comments and editorial concerns and resubmit the revised work within the specified period.
Once all questions and concerns have been resolved and the manuscript meets the journal's publication standards, the paper is accepted for publication.
Accepted manuscripts are scheduled for publication in one of the journal's bi-annual issues, released in June or December.
